Special Invitation To Be In My Beyond A Cute Dog Painting Project
How I can paint your dog to memorialize them
Thinking about writing an obituary to your beloved dog is overwhelming. You might have no idea what to write or you might not consider yourself a writer, or worried you won’t get it right.
So let’s revisit the idea of an obituary. I believe it does not have to be a long sad essay. A simple sentence, such as “More than a good dog, she was a great dog” can say it all. And it can be funny !
In that spirit, I want to hear about the dog you miss.
Here is where you can share an idea from the list below or anything else and upload photo (clear photos, straight on so I can see their eyes is best) or let me know your Instagram account where I can see photos.
I will paint as many dogs as I am able. I will let you know if you choose your dog before I get started on the 11" x 14" painting on paper. It would be greatly appreciated if you purchased the painting at a special price of $100 , but it is not required. I will be sharing the painting and your words here in the newsletter and on my Instagram account.
I want to hear about the things that makes your dog and your relationship unique.
Some ideas:
share a memory (does not have to be sad, it can be something fun) and why that memory is so special
or
your origin story: the first time you met your dog, how you knew this was the dog for you or you didn’t think this was your dog
or
silly, strange habits or quirks
or
weirdest thing they ever did
or
favorite /hated foods
or
favorite toy
or
unique markings and why you love the markings
or
nicknames/silly names you call them ,where did the nicknames come from
or
favorite errand / trip and why
or
what you miss most ( it can be something “simple”)
or
who misses them
or
how you think they would they want to be remembered
Looking forward to hearing from you. Click here for the link for the form to submit to the project.
