A Tribute to Daisy by E.B. White
Obituaries for animals are not a new idea. In my research, I have come upon many historical obituaries that have run in newspapers and magazines.
This week I present a moving and often funny obituary written by the great E.B. White (Charlotte’s Web, Stuart Little ) for his beloved Scottish Terrier, Daisy. The tribute was originally published in the New Yorker on March 12, 1932.
