Beyond a Cute Dog Painting: Pinky
"Her greatest victory was being able to enjoy more love than she ever dreamed possible. "
Pinky was one of my first online dog friends. I miss her.
Pinky
“It is with a broken heart that I share the news that our sweet, little Pinky has passed away. I say OUR because I know that you loved her too. You opened your hearts to both of us and my life will never be the same. You shared in Pinky’s triumphs and joys; and there were many - finding that stray Dorito, great naps in her condo, pampering with her Barbie doll brush and the epic Central Park Hot Dog Tour! But her greatest victory was being able to enjoy more love than she ever dreamed possible. All that many of us hope for is to have a positive impact on someone and bring a little sunshine into the world. In her own small way, Pinky has done that. Together, you and Pinky made a difference. You helped fund shelters devastated by Hurricane Harvey, along with Long Way Home Adoptables you saved dogs from the meat trade with your tote bag purchases, and you purchased paintings and crafts in auctions so that High Rollers Club could provide pet wheelchairs to families free of charge. We have shared the meaningful experience and pure joy of senior rescue together. What an amazing adventure.”
